Silica dust has no obvious signs

While workers know the risks of silica when cutting kitchen benchtops, many are still working blind to the dangers lurking in the silica that occurs naturally in most rocks. That’s why we had to cut directly to the heart, or more accurately to the lungs of the issue.

How do you highlight to employers and employees something that has no obvious signs of its presence? We created a new warning sign unique to silica dust; one that made the ‘invisible’ not only obvious, but confronting.
